on your ipod touch issue, my wife has a mac and I had a hard time with getting WEP to work. turns out it would only use the hex key (not the passphrase). I ended up switching to WPA-PSK and the passphrase worked fine there (who the hell can remember a hex key anyway??)

Good luck on that. it was particularly annoying that the mac failed to mention that it was using the key and not the passphrase.
